CIE Briefs Relaunch: Advancing Global Perspectives in Education
The Center for International Education (CIE) in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) is proud to announce the relaunch of CIE Briefs!
CIE Briefs are a curated series of short, scholarly articles that bring insight and critical perspective to topical issues in comparative and international education.
CIE Briefs are designed to move beyond exposure to insight. They synthesize research, theory, and practice to help readers understand not only what we know, but also what remains unresolved and what should be done next. Each brief contributes to a growing body of accessible scholarship that informs educators, researchers, policymakers, and global partners.
CIE welcomes contributions from faculty, doctoral students, practitioners, and partners across the globe to submit a contribution related to the following themes:
- Intercultural learning and development
- Migration, displacement, and global mobility
- Internationalization of education
- Technology and global learning
- Equity, justice, and access across contexts
- Language, Multilingualism, and Global Literacy
- Youth, Identity, and Belonging in Global Contexts
- Global citizenship and intercultural competence
Please see our submission guidelines for more information. Accepted briefs are published on our Center for International Education website.
