How to Apply
- Apply through the Common Application or George Mason's Online Application
- Submit your high school transcript
- Submit self-reported SAT or ACT scores, if applicable
- Non-native English speakers must submit English proficiency test scores
- Submit essay(s), extracurricular activities, and teacher and/or counselor recommendations

How to Apply
- Apply through George Mason's Online Graduate Application. Apply through the Master’s in Athletic Training application; this program uses a separate application.
- Submit official transcript verifying completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Meet the minimum 3.0 GPA requirement on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate study, unless otherwise specified by the program
- Submit a statement of purpose and current résumé or CV
- Provide letters of recommendation as required by the program
- Non-native English speakers must meet George Mason's English language requirements
- Additional requirements may apply, please review your specific program page

The graduate application deadlines for most CEHD graduate academic programs follow this schedule, with the exception of Athletic Training, Counseling, and School Psychology.
Undergraduate CEHD Students
Please refer to this page for information about re-enrollment.
Graduate CEHD Students
- Download a re-enrollment application via the Registrar forms page
- Complete and submit your re-enrollment application form to your academic department
- Once your form has been submitted to your academic department, staff will review, sign off, and submit your form to the University Registrar for processing
- After your form is processed, which can take about 2 weeks, you will be able to register for classes
Re-Enrollment Time Limit
- Master’s students have 6 years from the time of first enrollment to complete their degree
- Doctoral students have 9 years from the time of first enrollment to complete their degree
For all George Mason graduate programs, there is a time limit in which you must complete your degree.
