Jennifer Suh Receives School-University Partnership Award

Jennifer Suh and Kerri Fulginiti were recently recognized for their collaborative research and best-practice project by the Virginia Association of Teacher Educators.
Suh is an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Education at Mason's College of Education and Human Development, and Fulginiti is an Advanced Academic Resource Specialist at Westlawn Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia, a Title I school.
The two received the 2012 School-University Partnership Award from the Virginia Association of Teacher Educators for a project called “Situated Learning for Teaching: Implementing Lesson Study at a Professional Development School With Both Clinical Faculty and Teacher Candidates.â€
The statewide award recognizes collaborative projects between schools and universities that promote student learning and well-being and improved teacher preparation.
