Provides an overview of literacy development in PK-12 students. Builds understanding of disciplinary instructional strategies to support students’ development of reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing, and visually representing in the fine arts or health and physical education. Emphasizes integration of reading and other language arts across the curriculum. Note: School-based field experience required. Offered by School of Education. Limited to three attempts.
