The Elizabeth G. Sturtevant Center for Literacy was established in 2019 thanks to generous contributions from Dave Sturtevant in memory of his late wife Betty Sturtevant, who was a long-time professor in the literacy program.

Amazon Computer Science Education Externship

Amazon funded 20 scholarships for public middle school and high school teachers in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Selected teachers received computer science education externships that included a graduate level course and job shadowing of Amazon professionals.

Kyle Wilson Memorial Scholarship

The family of the late Kyle Wilson established the Kyle Wilson Memorial Scholarship in honor of the Mason alum and former Prince William County firefighter and to provide scholarships for graduate students in the athletic training program.

Michael and June Behrmann Scholarship Endowment

Michael Behrmann, along with his wife, June, has generously created an undergraduate scholarship for George Mason students in the special education program.
