Graduate Prelude is a CEHD orientation program specifically tailored to the needs of graduate students. You’ll learn about academic policy and expectations; discover ways to manage your workload; navigate Mason resources and services; and have a chance to interact with fellow CEHD graduate students, faculty, and staff.

For graduate students entering CEHD in fall 2020, Graduate Prelude will be offered virtually through the Blackboard online learning platform according to the following timeline:

Date Time Event
July Students will receive instructions via email for accessing their Mason Blackboard account and Graduate Prelude.
August 1 Graduate Prelude Part I will become available in Blackboard. Take time this week to review Modules 1-5.
August 8 Graduate Prelude Part II becomes available in Blackboard. You should review Modules 6-10 and any remaining modules from Part I before your Graduate Prelude Live session.
