The School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism (SRHT) offers exciting, career-ready majors in dynamic fields such as athletic training, tourism and events management, health and physical education, kinesiology, sport management, and recreation management. SRHT features renowned faculty, cutting-edge research, six laboratories and centers, and a diverse student body of more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year. Each major requires one or more internship or clinical experiences, ensuring that students graduate not just with a transcript but with a resume that demonstrates their professional aptitude and skills.

Profile

Michelle Gnoleba, M.A., obtained a Master of Arts in Higher Education at George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Mary Washington. Michelle serves as an Academic Advisor for the School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism and her primary areas include Tourism & Events Management and Sports Management. She has a passion for guiding students through the collegiate experience and she strives to create an environment which promotes self-efficacy, self-regulation, and student success. Michelle is also interested in research pertaining to the relationships between faculty-student interactions, self-efficacy, self-regulation, and academic achievement.
