Kayla has been advising undergraduate and graduate students studying Early Childhood Education at George Mason University since Fall 2018.
She began her career in academic advising at Shepherd University as an Academic Advising Graduate Assistant, and earned her Master of Arts in College Student Development and Administration. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese with a minor in Music from Marshall University. She has three years of experience living and working in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher through the JET Program.
