Provides an introduction to the public policy process by exploring how policies are designed, implemented, and evaluated, why certain issues gain policy attention while others do not, and what contributes to the relative success or failure of different policies. . Topics include an overview of public policy and its relationship with politics, the stages of policy development, the key actors and dynamics involved, and the factors influencing policy outcomes.Offered by Schar Govt/International Affrs. Limited to three attempts.
