Profile
As the academic advisor for Elementary Education, Valerie supports the graduate and undergraduate students in the program. She has experience as a fourth grade teacher and over 10 years of experience in higher education which includes academic advising at both Mason and Northern Virginia Community College. She especially enjoys helping transfer students navigate their transition to Mason and first-year students adjust to college. Valerie holds an MA in English from George Mason University and a BA in English from Benedictine College.
