School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism - George Mason University

The School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism (SRHT) offers exciting, career-ready majors in dynamic fields such as athletic training, tourism and events management, health and physical education, kinesiology, sport management, and recreation management. SRHT features renowned faculty, cutting-edge research, six laboratories and centers, and a diverse student body of more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year. Each major requires one or more internship or clinical experiences, ensuring that students graduate not just with a transcript but with a resume that demonstrates their professional aptitude and skills.

Office of Technology Support (OTS)

The mission of the Office of Technology Support (OTS) is to use technology to support teaching, learning, and the flow of information within the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD).

The Office of Technology Support (OTS) provides centralized technology support to CEHD faculty and staff and works collaboratively with individual faculty, staff, and academic and administrative units on campus and outside the university to promote projects related to its mission.

OTS staffs and maintains the CEHD computer labs and departmental classrooms and is the primary administrator of the CEHD websites. OTS procures and manages hardware and software inventory for faculty, staff, and CEHD computer labs and processes a wide variety of requests for technology to include programming, web design and development, equipment loans, technical guidance, and troubleshooting.
