Description:
Introduction to critical perspectives on mass media in Spanish-speaking world. Course engages regions (Spain, Latin America, Latin@ United States) according to faculty specialty. Includes contextualization of media in nineteenth and twentieth-century historical processes and readings in critical theory. Develops graduate-level oral, written, and research skills in Spanish. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages. May not be repeated for credit.
