Description:

Introduces the study of Spanish linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, pragmatics, historical linguistics, and sociolinguistics. Combines discussion of theoretical issues with linguistic analysis of Spanish.Offered by Modern & Classical Languages. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: SPAN 370 (may be enrolled concurrently) or permission of instructor.
