The course uses basic physics concepts from the areas of mechanics and thermodynamics to explain a wide range of everyday phenomena, such as how we walk and drive, how a ship floats, how clothing keeps us warm, and why it rains when we have a low pressure system. Notes: For nonscience majors. Offered by Physics & Astronomy. Limited to three attempts. Equivalent to PHYS 103T.
