Description:
Research project, directed reading and/or investigative topic chosen and completed under the guidance of a graduate faculty member resulting in an acceptable technical report, department talk, and/or progress toward the creative component for the MS degree. Students are encouraged to take 3 credits of MATH 798 before taking MATH 799. Offered by Mathematics. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 6 credits.
Recommended Prerequisite: 15 credits of graduate courses in mathematics
Registration Restrictions:
Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate or Non-Degree.
Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
