Description:

Covers mathematical aspects of data science/artificial intelligence (AI) including theory of linear and nonlinear dimension reduction, elements of spectral graph theory, function spaces and regularity in regression, and data-driven dynamics identification and discovery. Computational and analytic assignments are given.  Offered by Mathematics. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: Math 664

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
