Structure of linear spaces and the operator algebra, duality, invariants, Jordan and singular value decompositions, spectral theorem. Rigorous derivation of foundational data science methods such as PCA, MDS, and SVM. Computational and analytic assignments are given.Offered by Mathematics. Limited to three attempts.
