Significant figures, round-off errors, iterative methods of solution of nonlinear equations of a single variable, solutions of linear systems, iterative techniques in matrix algebra, interpolation and polynomial approximation. Offered by Mathematics. Limited to three attempts. Equivalent to OR 481.

Required Prerequisites: (MATH 203C, 203XS or 203T) and (CS 112C, 112XS or 112T).
C Requires minimum grade of C.
XS Requires minimum grade of XS.
