GGS 622: Drone Remote Sensing

Description:

An advanced remote sensing course that focuses on the fundamentals of collecting and processing drone-based sensor data for various scientific applications. Explores the principles involved in drone-based photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction, multi-spectral and LiDAR sensing, whilst providing hands-on experience with drone mission planning, data acquisition and data processing. Offered by Geography/Geoinformation Sci. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: GGS 579 or permission of instructor
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
