Covers the transformative impact of generative artificial intelligence on society, with a focus on second and heritage language-related fields, including translation and localization, language education, content development, linguistics, technical and creative writing, social services, and social media management. Through a blend of theory and practical application, students will build critical skills in analyzing and using AI technologies that generate text, images, and videos. Explores the ethical dimensions of AI-driven communication.Offered by Modern & Classical Languages. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: 18 credits in a foreign language
