Description:
Introduces students to the variety and vitality of contemporary literature through the study of novels and/or short stories published within the past three or four decades, concentrating on US-based writers active in the present. May also include comparative attention to writers based internationally, as well as to the transnational dimensions of contemporary fiction. Offered by English. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: Satisfaction of University requirements in 100-level English and in Mason Core literature.
