Explores social studies content, assessment, curriculum development, planning, and instructional practices. Examines strategies for guiding children’s behavior, integrating social studies instruction across content areas, and planning and implementing community of learners inclusive of children with diverse abilities and cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Offered by Graduate School of Education. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: ECED 403.
