Description:

Students gain practical experience capturing, writing and editing video news packages for broadcast. The course emphasizes the unique writing style of video broadcast journalists – concise and conversational reports balanced with visuals and sounds. Students also examine the technical and ethical challenges that broadcast reporters and producers face when gathering and distributing the news. Offered by Communication. Limited to three attempts.

C Requires minimum grade of C.
