This is a gateway course to the field of Public Relations (PR). Students learn the history, ethics, and practices of the PR industry, and discuss how technology, politics, culture, and globalization contribute to how practitioners plan client campaigns. Students also practice foundational skills to produce professional, ethical, and message-driven PR campaigns. This course is appropriate to all who are interested in exploring the fast-evolving PR field. Offered by Communication. Limited to three attempts.
