Description:

Organ system approach to studying the structure and function of the human organism and maintenance of homeostasis. Detailed discussion of anatomical structures and their functions of the endocrine, nervous, muscular, skeletal, and integumentary systems following introduction to the cellular and tissue levels of organization. Topics also include selected pathology for each organ system; current therapeutic interventions are addressed. Notes: Biology 124 is not approved for Biology Majors. Offered by Biology. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: 60 credits.

Required Prerequisites: (BIOL 213XS, U213 or 213C).
XS Requires minimum grade of XS.
C Requires minimum grade of C.
