The Pakistan National University of Science and Technology Program engaged 15 engineering faculty from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in 3 weeks of professional development designed to strengthen their instructional and research competencies. Seminar topics included a wide range of U.S. instructional design, assessment, and methodology practices with a focus on curriculum development; course and program assessment and accreditation; student-centered, content-based pedagogy; modern instructional methodology and lecture delivery in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses; engaging in self-study and action research; and technology integration in instruction.  NUST faculty also attended cultural events during their stay.
