Monitoring Athlete Health

Oxygen consumption (VO2): The metabolic cart enables assessment of aerobic and anaerobic fitness through VO2 testing, and total caloric expenditure through RMR testing, thereby providing guidance when designing fitness and nutrition programs.

Isometric Mid-thigh Pull (IMTP): IMTP provides an assessment of maximal strength and force production. The IMTP test results strongly relate to vertical jump and speed assessments.

HUMAC: isokinetic and isometric dynamometry enables assessment of strength through full joint ranges of motion that provide comprehensive strength evaluations and asymmetry profiles.

Countermovement jump (CMJ): Neuromuscular performance measured through CMJs describe the maximal instantaneous force output and provide insight into fatigue and performance readiness.

Air displacement plethysmography (ADP): ADP testing in the BODPOD provides information on body fat and fat free mass that can be used for specialized nutrition guidance.
