Dear CEHD Community,

 

I hope the semester is going well. I write to invite you to join me for a College Budget Update and Conversation on Wednesday, November 19, 2:30-3:30, where I’ll share the latest information about CEHD’s financial outlook and our next steps together.

 

We now have a clear picture of our FY26 subsidy, which reflects the university's confidence in the progress we have made as a college through our continued focus on alignment, transparency, and responsible stewardship. This support provides a more stable foundation for planning and gives us the opportunity to begin a thoughtful, college-wide conversation about how to build on our progress and chart a sustainable path forward.

 

Our discussion will focus on how we can use this period of stability to plan for the future, aligning our academic mission with the operational and financial realities that support it. I’ll also share the timeline for our ongoing engagement process so that everyone understands how input from across the college will inform our long-term planning.

 

Hannah will be sending a calendar invite shortly, which will include both face-to-face and virtual participation options.
