This periodical is dedicated to covering colleges and universities. They serve readers with real-time news and provide tools, career resources, and knowledge in a rapidly changing world. - CIES
CIES is a professional organization dedicated to understanding educational issues, trends, and policies through comparative, intercultural, and international perspectives. CIES organizes and provides conferences, publications, professional networking, and research support for the field of comparative and international education. - MOFET/ITEC
The MOFET Institute is a national intercollegiate center for the research and development of curricula and programs in teacher education and teaching in the colleges. It constitutes a framework both in Israel and worldwide for supporting teacher educators’ professional development. - NAFSA
This the largest nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. NAFSA believes that international education advances learning and scholarship, fosters understanding and respect among people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and is essential for developing globally competent individuals. - UNESCO
UNESCO is the United Nations educational, scientific, and cultural organization. It seeks to build peace through international cooperation in education, the sciences, and culture. - United Nations Association of the National Capital Area
UNA-NCA is a not-for-profit membership-based organization that works with foreign policy and political decision-makers, schools of all levels, and other organizations in the National Capital Area to contribute knowledge, understanding, informed opinion, and new ideas regarding the United Nations, its specialized agencies, and its relationship with the United States.

Global Nomads fosters dialogue and understanding among the world's youth. By leveraging technology, they enable conversations between middle school and high school students who otherwise would not meet. - Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE)
The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program is an international science and education program that provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process and contribute meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment. - International Children’s Digital Library

Education World Lesson Planning is a free, independent resource on the Web for educators. Created in 1996, the site publishes lesson plans, worksheets, education news, and other resources aimed at teachers, administrators, and homeschoolers. - EmbraceRace

International Opportunities
The programs and organizations listed below provide opportunities for individuals to teach in international settings.
- Summer at Sea –Teachers at Sea program
Semester at Sea is a multi-country study abroad program on a ship open to all students of all majors, emphasizing global comparative study. - Teach for All
The Teach For All network is developing collective leadership in classrooms and communities around the world. Each network partner recruits and prepares individuals to teach in their nations’ under-resourced schools and communities and, with this foundation, to work with others, inside and outside of education, to ensure all children are able to fulfill their potential. - English Language Fellows Program Georgetown University
All CIED Programs have a focus on building intercultural understanding, fulfilling Georgetown University’s mission to prepare global citizens to lead, serve, and change the world. They design and implement short- and long-term programs and workshops on virtually any topic of interest to program partners. - Institute of International Programs – Fulbright
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals and artists to study, conduct research, and/or teach English abroad. In addition, Critical Language Enhancement Awards are available to grantees for study of critical need foreign languages before or during their grant period. Fulbright is a program of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
