Education Honor Society Inducts 35 New Members

August 3, 2015

The College of Education and Human Development celebrated the induction of 35 new members into Kappa Delta Pi, Nu Alpha Chapter.

The new initiates, listed below, are students in the Graduate School of Education and represent 14 different academic programs.

Thirty-five graduate students were inducted into George Mason University's chapter of the International Honor Society in Education at a ceremony in the Center for the Arts on the Fairfax campus.

Kappa Delta Pi is an International Honor Society in Education and the Nu Alpha Chapter was established at George Mason University in 1972. The mission of the society is to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. The founders chose the name from the Greek words to represent knowledge (Kappa), duty (Delta), and power (Pi).

The chapter's leadership is Stacia Stribling, assistant professor; Ellen Rodgers, associate dean; and Amie Fulcher, professional faculty.
