Paid PBS Educator & Community Summer Internship Available

PBS is searching for a summer intern to help implement several aspects of their Early Learning Champions professional learning program.

The PBS Kids Early Learning Champions program is a two-year professional growth and engagement program which recognizes and honors educators of children aged birth to 8 years, and helps educators explore an aspect of their practice they would like to grow or improve.

The Intern will work directly with educators to identify and help coordinate unique professional learning opportunities; they will participate in and facilitate discussions in educator and station communities of practice (as they relate to the ELC program) and help begin to plan a signature Early Learning Champions event.  Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD candidates majoring in Education are strongly preferred.  Classroom experience is also desired (though not required).

For more information or to apply, visit http://www.pbs.org/about/careers/current-openings/ and select the Educator & Community Engagement Intern link.
