Profile

Judy is a Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator for the VDOE Region 4 Training and Technical Assistance Center (T/TAC) at GMU. She is a member of the Standards-based IEP and SOL Enhanced Scope and Sequence PLUS (ESS+) State-directed  Projects and also serves on Academic and Instructional Review Teams.  She is also a member of the Math Instruction networking group.  Judy received her B.S. in Educational Psychology with a cross-categorical endorsement in Special Education, K-12 from the University of Connecticut. In addition, she received her M.A. in Special Education from the University of Connecticut, with a focus on Learning Disabilities. Prior to working at T/TAC, Judy taught in public schools in Connecticut, as well as, in Prince William and Fairfax Counties. She has extensive teaching experience working with students with disabilities across a variety of instructional settings, including as a co-teacher in inclusive schools.  Judy has also worked with graduate student interns as a university supervisor.
