April 22, 2015

Charley Casserly.

In business, as in sports, great leadership makes all the difference in winning and achieving team success.

Learn how to maximize your organization’s effectiveness in this 9-day leadership course taught by Charley Casserly, former NFL general manager for the Washington Redskins and currently a sports analyst for the NFL Network.

SRST 598: Professional Sports Leadership is a seminar style, graduate-level course that will be held on June 22 - July 2, 2015, Monday - Friday, from 8 am - 12 noon on the Fairfax campus of George Mason University. The course has a limited enrollment in order to allow for plenty of opportunity for interaction and discussion.

Download the flyer for information on how to register. If you are currently enrolled at George Mason University, register on PatriotWeb before June 4. If not currently enrolled, please apply first as a non-degree graduate student by May 19. Tuition discounts are available.

With four Super Bowl appearances and three championships to his credit, Charley Casserly knows firsthand how to develop leaders and managers for success. This leadership course includes knowledge and insights especially designed for athletic directors, sports managers, and coaches on how to motivate teams, hire personnel, and manage their organizations.

The course is also valuable for managers in business, government, schools, and nonprofit agencies as it provides practical, proven strategies on how to develop a leadership team, evaluate staff, take over a new position, handle media relations, and deal with crisis management.
