FAIRFAX, Va. – A trio of professors in the School of Sport, Recreation, and Tourism Management (SRTM) in George Mason University’s College of Education and Human Development were recently featured on WalletHub speaking to a variety of relevant topics in the industries of sport management, recreation and tourism.
SRTM Interim Director Laurence Chalip was interviewed about several topics regarding the Tokyo Olympics, which began this week. Chalip, the academic program co-coordinator for Recreation Management, was interviewed before Tokyo announced that no spectators would be allowed to attend the Olympic Games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
