Congratulations to Dr. Britt J. Davis, the 2017 College of Education and Human Development Distinguished Alumni recipient. Davis received the award at the April 26 Celebration of Distinction awards banquet hosted by Mason’s Alumni Association. He is a two-time graduate of George Mason University, graduating in 1991 with a bachelor of science degree in parks, recreation, and leisure studies and in 1996 with a master of public administration degree. The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) honored Dr.Sarah Nagro, assistant professor of special education in the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University, with the 2017 AACTE Outstanding Dissertation Award for her study, The Effects of Guided Video Analysis on Teacher Candidates' Reflective Ability and Instructional Skills.
