The announcement that Atif Qarni — a civics, economics, U.S. history and math teacher at Beville Middle School in Woodbridge — would join Northam’s Cabinet was made at the school Thursday by the governor-elect. Anne Holton Adds to Her Family's Mason Legacy

The first time Anne Holton was on George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus after being hired as a visiting professor, the former Virginia Secretary of Education made sure to walk to the plaza dedicated to her father. A.
