Eight CEHD Faculty Members Receive Promotion and/or Tenure

Dean Mark R. Ginsberg announced that eight faculty members within the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University received promotion and/or tenure, effective August 25, 2015. Congratulations!
Supriya Baily, Division of Advanced Professional Teacher Development and International Education, was promoted to the rank of associate professor, with tenure.
Bob Baker, director of the Division of Sport, Recreation, and Tourism, was promoted to the rank of professor.
Yoosun Chung, Division of Special Education and disAbility Research, was promoted to the rank of associate professor.
Nelson Cortes, Division of Health and Human Performance, was promoted to the rank of associate professor, with tenure.
Ted Hoch, Division of Special Education and disAbility Research, was promoted to the rank of associate professor.
Sonya Horsford
Sonya Horsford, Division of Education Leadership, was granted tenure.
Shawn Lee, Division of Sport, Recreation, and Tourism, was promoted to the rank of associate professor, with tenure.
Kristien Zenkov, Division of Elementary, Literacy, and Secondary Education, was promoted to the rank of professor.
