Doctoral Student Receives STEM Scholarship

Congratulations to Jason Calhoun, a CEHD doctoral student who recently received a STEM Teachers for America's Future Scholarship.

Jason Calhoun
The $5,000 scholarship is awarded by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association of Fairfax, VA to students involved in teaching science, technology, engineering, or math subjects in United States middle or secondary schools.
Jason Calhoun is a doctoral candidate in the Science Education Leadership program at George Mason University's College of Education and Human Development.
He is also the supervisor of science and family life education for Prince William County Public Schools. He has both a BS and MS in chemistry and is vice president of the Virginia Science Education Leadership Association.
