You are invited to attend an event in collaboration with Guiding Patriots and the Virginia Consortium for Teacher Preparation in Blindness and Vision Impairment!

 

Have you ever wondered how to safely and effectively guide a person with blindness/low vision?  Have you even wondered what a white cane is, and how the white cane provides so many options for navigation around campus and the community?

 

We have a panel of three nationally Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists who will teach guiding methods and give an interactive demonstration of basic white cane techniques. Join us for a special event to learn about Visual Impairments and
