Description:

Introduces ideas of discrete mathematics including mathematical induction, sets, logic, graphs, trees, basic counting arguments, and discrete probability. Students who have received credit for MATH 125 may not receive credit for this course. Notes: Intended for IT students; does not count toward a major or minor in mathematics. Offered by Mathematics. Limited to three attempts.
Registration Restrictions:

Required Prerequisites: minimum score of 13 in 'Math Placement Algebra I', MATH 105C, 105XS, 108C, 108XS, 113C or 113XS.
C Requires minimum grade of C.
XS Requires minimum grade of XS.
