Synthesis of pure mathematics and computational mathematics. Emphasizes interplay between discrete and continuous mathematics. Mathematical structure revealed from equilibrium models in discrete and continuous systems. Offered by Mathematics. Limited to three attempts.

Required Prerequisites: (MATH 203C, 203XS or 203T) and (MATH 214C, 214XS or 214T) or (MATH 216C or 216T).
C Requires minimum grade of C.
