Course Syllabi

All faculty are required to provide students with a printed syllabus during the first class meeting. Syllabi should be created in consultation with the Program Coordinator. A final copy of the syllabus must be emailed to gsefso@gmu.edu within two weeks of the beginning of class. If you would like to have copies of your syllabus copies by the Student and Faculty Services Office, please submit your syllabus one week in advance of the first night of class and make sure detailed copying instructions are listed in the e-mail.

Current Syllabi

Each semester, CEHD will post the most recent syllabi for every course and section taught on our web site. From the Summer 2004 semester forward, the syllabi from the previous academic years will remain posted so that the syllabus from the semester in which a course was most recently taught will remain posted in the event that the course is not taught in the current semester.

Syllabus Statement of Expectations

The Program Coordinators and Curriculum Committee have approved the following statements of expectations for all students that should appear on each GSE syllabus beginning with summer, 2004 classes. These concise statements should reduce the amount of repeated text in your syllabi and should also provide coherent student expectations across CEHD. Please convey this message to any adjuncts you may hire.
