Profile
Dr. Lori Shelby’s research focuses on the application of social psychological theories (e.g., attitudes, norms, crowding) to managerial and policy concerns. She has conducted research with various federal agencies, as well as municipal resource managers, the results of which have been published in outlets such as Advances in Hospitality and Leisure, Annals of Tourism Research, Human Dimensions of Wildlife, Tourism Management, and Wildlife Society Bulletin. She is associate editor of the Human Dimensions of Wildlife journal.
