Dr. Duke serves as an Instructional Faculty member for the Graduate School of Education. She teaches Special Education courses, primarily in the Cohort Outreach Program.
Dr. Duke is currently researching students with Hyperlexia, who are on the spectrum and have difficulty with reading comprehension.
Dr. Duke received a B.S. in Elementary Education from University of Michigan, a M.S. in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University, and an Ed.D. in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Duke's specializations include working with students with severe disabilities, reading instruciton, and school administration and leadership.
Students with Hyperlexia, students with Spectrum Disorders, reading instruction for students with spectrum disorders, self-management, and students with Severe Disabilities.
