Liz Hanfman has been a Research and Evaluation Associate for the Center for the Advancement of Public Health in the School of Recreation, Health and Tourism at George Mason University since fall 2006. She received her Master’s degree in Sociology in 2006 from The George Washington University. Her duties at the Center for the Advancement of Public Health include analyzing quantitative data, building research instrumentation, writing evaluation reports, completing literature reviews, and researching a variety of Public Health topics. Her main research interests include nutrition, obesity, substance use, and youth culture.
