The College of Education and Human Development has funded and maintains and supports a computer lab through the Office of Technology Support (OTS), for the exclusive use of CEHD faculty, staff, students, and alumni. This lab is located on the Fairfax Campus in Robinson Hall A (RobA), room 352. Each lab is secured by an OmniLock door and equipped with a rear view LCD projector and Smartboard connected to the instructor computer, a TV and VCR, an overhead projector, 2-3 white boards. Each computer in the labs is directly connected to Mason's network and shares the same high speed and quality Internet access as the rest of the campus.
The computer labs are generally open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm for "open lab time". These times are subject to change as meetings, classes, speakers, and events are occassionally scheduled in one or both of these labs.
Weekly schedules are posted on the lab door every Monday morning before 10:00 am with a listing of that week's events.
CEHD classes are ususally scheduled Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 10:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm. If there is not a class or other event scheduled during these times or other normal staffing hours, then the lab may be used by CEHD faculty, staff, students, or alumni for "open lab time".
Please note that while every effort is made to keep our customers informed of scheduled events, we cannot guarantee that the posted schedule is always accurate. Emergency or last minute events may be scheduled causing one of the labs to be closed with little or no notice.
