The mission of OTS is to use technology to support teaching, learning and the flow of information within the CEHD. OTS provides centralized technology support to CEHD faculty and staff and works collaboratively with individual faculty, staff and academic and administrative units on campus and outside the University to promote projects related to its mission.
OTS staffs and maintains five Fairfax campus computer labs and is the primary administrator of the Blackboard Course Management System and the CEHD websites. OTS procures and manages hardware and software inventory for faculty, staff and CEHD computer labs and processes a wide variety of requests for technology to include programming, web design and development, equipment loans, technical guidance and troubleshooting.
