Provisional Admissions
http://www.gmu.edu/catalog/admission/index.html#Anchor18A degree-seeking graduate applicant with a baccalaureate degree who has not met all admission requirements may be offered provisional admission.
As first priority, a provisionally admitted student must satisfy the conditions of admission. Once the student has satisfied the conditions specified in the offer of admission and submitted all admission credentials, the student’s program will request that the provisional qualifier will be removed from the student's record.
