Provisional Admissions

http://www.gmu.edu/catalog/admission/index.html#Anchor18

A degree-seeking graduate applicant with a baccalaureate degree who has not met all admission requirements may be offered provisional admission.

As first priority, a provisionally admitted student must satisfy the conditions of admission. Once the student has satisfied the conditions specified in the offer of admission and submitted all admission credentials, the student’s program will request that the provisional qualifier will be removed from the student's record.

Students with January, May, and August conferral dates are permitted to walk in the May Mason Commencement Ceremony and at the GSE Convocation.

All students must file their Intent to Graduate (GIF) regardless of whether they plan to attend the Commencement and Convocation ceremonies in May.

Graduation Intent Forms (GIF) are submitted online via PatriotWeb the semester prior to their conferral date.
