Three CEHD Professors Receive the 2013 Teachers of Distinction Award

Seungwon “Shawn” Lee, Marci Kinas-Jerome, and Kristien Zenkov are among seven recipients of the 2013 Teachers of Distinction Award, part of George Mason University's annual Teaching Excellence Awards.

The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) is proud of the accomplishments of the recipients. The Teachers of Distinction Award recognizes professors across campus for their exceptional teaching and their commitment to teaching-related activities.

  • Seungwon "Shawn" Lee is an assistant professor in the School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism - Division of Sport, Recreation, and Tourism.
  • Marci Kinas-Jerome is an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Education - Division of Special Education and disAbility Research.
  • Kristien Zenkov is an associate professor in the Graduate School of Education - Division of Elementary, Literacy, and Secondary Education.

The awards, presented by the Office of the Provost and the Center for Teaching Excellence, celebrate Mason faculty's continued dedication to student learning. A ceremony will be held on Monday, April 15, from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm in the Center for the Arts, Concert Hall, Main Lobby.
