Description: You will examine the central problems of epistemology and what is meant by the notion of "ways of knowing" and "reflective practitioner," and what they imply for professional learning. You will give special attention to developing skills for reflective practice (e.g., through journals, narrative autobiography and imaginative literature), and to consider how your personal and professional identity is influenced by your intentions and commitments to learning and schooling.
